It was a crazy week one for quarterbacks in Fanduel. 10 quarterbacks scored over 19 points last week.

Would you have guessed Marcus Mariota, Alex Smith, and Nick Foles would’ve finished in the top ten?

Would you have guessed that 3 Super Bowl MVPs, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, and Joe Flacco would finish 28th, 29th, and 31st in Fanduel?

Let’s see the values for Week Two.

Quarterback Worth the Money:

Matt Ryan, Falcons ($8700)

Ryan is facing a Giants defense that allowed Tony Romo to throw for 356 yards and 3 touchdowns, completing 80% of his passes last Sunday night

While Ryan didn’t have a stellar game against the Eagles, he was impressive. Julio Jones was a fantasy monster Monday night.

When you look at other QBs in his budget range, Ryan has the best shot at making you some money.

Quarterback On a Budget

Sam Bradford, Eagles ($7500)

Bradford was another quarterback who had an impressive first outing for the Eagles.

The Eagles threw the ball 76% of the time, mostly because of their big free agent acquisitions Demarco Murray and Ryan Mathews had a combined 13 yards on 11 rushing attempts (yet still scored two rushing touchdowns… UGH).

Bradford is going you get plenty of opportunities to throw the ball against the Cowboys defense. 300 yards and a few touchdowns should be easy for Bradford in Week Two.

Deep Sleeper Quarterback:

Nick Foles, Rams ($6500)

Foles had impressive numbers against the best defense in the NFL. He had no interceptions, but a few fumbles that really hurt his numbers.

Foles was without his number one AND number two RBs, Todd Gurley and Tre Mason against the Seahawks. He was very efficient with his 27 passing attempts, completing 18 passes to 6 different receivers.

Foles is facing the Redskins secondary which should be a plus. The second plus is the Redskins are facing the Rams defense that should put Foles in a position to put more fantasy points on the board. Hopefully Foles makes good of his fantasy opportunity.

Quarterback to Avoid:

Joe Flacco, Ravens ($8100)

Flacco had a less than stellar performance against the Broncos defense, 117 yards and two interceptions.

He’s facing a Raiders defense on the road in Oakland that has a brand new secondary and will be missing their two starting safeties due to injury.

It’s a trap game for Flacco. There are way better and safer values for less money (Tannehill @ $8000, Eli Manning @ $8000). Don’t fall into the Flacco trap.
