The Ancient Wonder! Larry Fitzgerald continues his consistency for 2017 with an outstanding week to take the #1 spot in Week 6!

Consistency. Any educated fantasy owner knows that you need your Fantasy Football players to be not only good, but also consistently good! It’s a proven fact that the more consistent your Fantasy players are throughout the season, the better chance that you’ll have to win. More wins equals playoffs and playoffs can turn into championships! That’s why I’ll be here each week to help you identify the most consistent Fantasy football players in your quest towards a Fantasy championship.

Unfamiliar with how consistency can help your Fantasy team? Make sure to check out BigGuyFantasySports.com and get all the consistency information you need to win your league!

Your subscription includes the Clutch Report, which will help you determine how consistent are the players in your league with your scoring method!

A quick recap for those unfamiliar with the Clutch Games system.  The Head-to-Head (H2H) format in Fantasy Football leads to the need for consistency. Many teams have been near the top of their league in scoring, but miss the playoffs by one or two games. Many will call it “bad luck” and that’s partially true. Injuries to key players, bad weather, etc. are situations that affect our Fantasy teams, but are uncontrollable. However, there is one aspect of Fantasy football that you can control. The consistency of your team!

A Clutch Game is awarded to a player each week when they exceed the Clutch Game Factor in your league for that position. The more Clutch Games a player is awarded each year, the more consistent that player is and the more beneficial they are to your Fantasy team.

The scoring method used will be 1 point per 20 yards passing and 4 points for passing touchdowns; 1 point per 10 yards rushing and receiving; 1 point per reception; and 6 points for any rushing/receiving touchdown.

So, let’s review Week 6 for the wide receivers…

THE EXPECTED

There was the normal average of wide receivers this week with 36. The expected studs like Antonio Brown (#2); Demaryius Thomas (#3), and Mike Evans (#9) were accounted for. Golden Tate finally regained his consistency this week but has been slightly disappointing this year. Throw in the shoulder injury from this past weekend and it may not get any better for him. The Lions have a bye this week. Try to grab Marvin Jones if you can. Everyone was down on Jarvis Landry after the Jay Cutler signing, but look who’s at an 80% Clutch Rate. Another preseason favorite of mine was Michael Crabtree and even with the Derek Carr injury, Crabtree has maintained his consistency (80%). With DeAndre Hopkins NOT earning a Clutch Game this week, the only remaining perfectly consistent WR is A.J. Green.

THE UNEXPECTED

There are always a group of unexpected receivers who the average Fantasy owners may not recognize. This week’s group includes Marvin Hall, DeAnthony Thomas, and Taywan Taylor. Will any of these player’s consistency continue? I’ll certainly let you know, in this weekly series, as I see consistency trends in players. In case you missed it, Will Fuller has earned three straight Clutch Games. Therefore, he’s the only unexpected perfect receiver with a three for three in Clutch Games.

The unexpected bad list is huge this week! Top studs like Amari Cooper (FOR THE FOURTH WEEK IN A ROW!), DeAndre Hopkins, Keenan Allen and Tyreek Hill were real kick in the groins for many Fantasy owners! Amari Cooper is now ONE for SIX in Clutch Games!

Waiver Wire Consistency

If you’re looking for some names of consistent receivers who may be on your waiver wire, I would like for the following names: DeAnthony Thomas and Taywan Taylor.

Here is a group of those “bad” surprises, wide receivers who didn’t earn a Clutch Game this week. Many of those poor Fantasy owners who grabbed one of these wide receivers early in their drafts cannot be happy with this week’s performance.
