At this point in the fantasy football season, you’re likely no longer streaming, but things like injuries and bad performances happen, and may leave you wanting for another wide receiver this week. Below are three wide receivers available in 50% of Yahoo! leagues or more (and one out there in at least 90%) in the best position to be fantasy relevant in week fourteen.[embedit snippet=”jeff-ads”]

Malcolm Mitchell versus Baltimore (50% owned)
Mitchell might just be the outside receiver option the Patriots have been desperately searching for over the last few years. He has had three touchdowns over his last three games, and at least eighty yards in two of those. Mitchell should have had a bigger role in this offense from the beginning, but a preseason injury set him back. This week the Patriots play a stifling Baltimore run defense. Bill Belichick is no dummy, so that means that they will take their chances against the Baltimore pass defense. This defense has allowed the tenth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this year. Mitchell is criminally underowned at 50% ownership.

Pierre Garcon at Philadelphia (36% owned)
What if I told you that there is a player available in 64% of Yahoo! leagues who is averaging just .02 fewer fantasy points per game than Brandin Cooks over the last four games, and someone who is averaging 0.02 fantasy points per game more than Julio freaking Jones in the same timespan? Well, he’s out there, and his name is Pierre Garcon. This week Garcon gets the Eagles, who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. With a stifling run defense opposite them, it’s likely that Washington goes through the air, which makes him a great option this week to far outpace his ownership.

Robby Anderson at San Francisco (1% owned)
The ultimate GPP punt play, Robby Anderson was the #4 wide receiver for the Jets until Bryce Petty took over last week, then he suddenly had twelve targets. He turned these targets into 61 yards and a score (though he only caught four-of-twelve passes). Still, twelve pass upside against the god awful 49ers defense isn’t something you can easily ignore. This isn’t a situation I would roll with in week one of your fantasy playoffs, but he is someone to consider for DFS lineups. The 49ers give up the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers, including an inexplicable 10.5 fantasy points to Josh Bellamy last week.
