As the big name wide receivers continue to go down, and in some cases, their backups going down, opportunities for receivers down the depth charts are bubbling up, and this is good news for your Fantasy Football team. As we turn our attention to week six, streaming is going to get more difficult, as people start to roster backups and the bye weeks roll in to take their pound of flesh. This week will have you trying to fill the shoes of a handful of great WRs, including Stefon Diggs and Mike Evans through the bye, though injuries continue to mount and thin the WR available to you. If you need some WR help, we are here to help. The Stream Teams are under 50% ownership on Yahoo!, with one player under 10% ownership for deeper leagues. As always, numbers are as of Saturday afternoon.[embedit snippet=”jeff-ads”]

Cameron Meredith versus Jacksonville (48% owned)

A figure that will likely jump past the 50% threshold before 1 PM Eastern on Sunday, Meredith is the big recipient of the “Wide Receiver Opposite Alshon Jeffery” target volume that has bubbled up this season. After Kevin White got the hang of things, and before he went down, he had 23 targets in two games. Throw in Meredith’s week five, wherein he had 12 targets, and you get a massive volume for the wide out opposite Jeffery. Meredith was far more productive than White with his targets, going for 130 yards and a score last week. This week they take on the Jags who have allowed double-digit fantasy points to the #2 wide receiver in three of four weeks, with only Mike Wallace not crossing that threshold. He may be more than a one-week wonder, anyway. See if he’s out there.

Tajae Sharpe versus Cleveland (25% owned)

I still believe in Tajae, and the uptick in passing volume from Marcus Mariota has rejiggered my faith. Granted, he dropped below seven targets last week for the first time, but they take on a Cleveland defense that is middle of the road solely because they shut down Kirk Cousins and the Washington passing game, which isn’t a huge feather in their caps. Excepting that Washington game, at least one wide receiver has at least ten fantasy points against them per game, with two doing it in week one, and two doing it in week three. Sharpe is available in three of four Yahoo! Leagues, and is worth a look if you’re desperate. Though given his production, I would not go after him before even the deep dive candidate this week…

Deep Dive

Eli Rogers at Miami (3% owned)

With Rogers returning from his toe injury and Markus Wheaton (shoulder) already being ruled out, and the development that Sammie Coates (questionable) has a broken finger in addition to his lacerated hand, it is looking more and more like Rogers is going to absorb an abnormally high target volume Sunday. Pittsburgh takes on a Miami team that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers so far this season.
