With an exciting and thrilling set of matches to begin the Round Of 16, here are my top three teams heading into the FIFA World Cup 2018 semifinals!

France ??: It’s a tossup between Les Bleus and The Red Devils as to who is the best team playing in the World Cup Final Four, while Belgium is coming in on an emotional high in beating Brazil, 2-0, and on a 24-match unbeaten streak, France is playing some world-class futbol as well.

Both teams have talent on both sides, but France’s speed, athleticism and counter may be too much for a short-handed Belgian side minus one of their top players in defender Thomas Meunier, who got a yellow card for tripping Neymar.

Belgium ??: Not much separates The Red Devils from the forementioned Les Bleus, France has the likes of world-class forwards such as Antoine Griezmann, 19-year-old wunderkid Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba, while Belgium counters with Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne.

There will be no shortage of exhilarating runs and breathtaking counters, in what will be the de facto Final of the World Cup!

England ???????: Despite Croatia’s thrilling 4-3 win in penalties over host Russia, something about England gives off the vibe as that “Team of Destiny” From the world class scoring duo of Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling to the clutch goalkeeping of Jordan Pickford, there is just SOMETHING about this Three Lions side that you can’t quite shake, nor underestimate.

Surely, former Arsenal legend and BBC soccer analyst, Ian Wright will agree with me here!

England has all of the emotional momentum and house money in their side against a spent and emotionally exhausted Croatia side that looks like it has reached the end of its run. ⚽️⚽️⚽️
