The Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, lose their third-straight game Friday night, falling 8-6 to the San Antonio Missions. Juremi Profar had a big night, with an impressive solo home run and three RBIs. Both team offenses were able to strike well against the starting pitchers, but the Missions were able to squeeze out a win.

Profar led the RoughRiders in offense, with a trio of hits and three RBIs. His home run in the sixth inning was his ninth of the season. This was his eighth game with at least three hits, leading the team. Jose Trevino, the All-Star catcher, hit his own home run in the sixth and ended the night 2-4, with a double, HR, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Jose Cardona finished 2-3, with a sacrifice fly, one RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base.

Collin Wiles started from the hill for the RoughRiders. As of late, he has been a shining star for the Frisco pitching staff. He entered the season mostly unlooked at and has shown that he can be counted on. However, Friday night was not a typical Collin Wiles start. The Missions, affiliate of the San Diego Padres, broke out in the fourth inning. They scored four runs, taking their lead to 6-1, led by a two-run double from catcher Webster Rivas.

Wiles ended his work after five innings, allowing seven hits and six runs (all earned). He walked two, struck out three, and hit two batters. Shane McCain entered in relief, giving up three hits and two runs (all earned) in just 1.1 innings. He walked one and struck out two. Reed Garret tossed 1.2 innings of perfect baseball. Ricardo Rodriguez closed out the matchup for the Frisco RoughRiders, giving up two hits and no runs in his one inning.
