Ashante’ P.T. Stokes’ latest release arrives as his docuseries gains traction on the film festival circuit.
Gospel artist and filmmaker Ashante’ P.T. Stokes, known professionally as PTtheGospelSpitter, is preparing to release a new single titled Good News, following a breakout year that saw his music chart across multiple Christian radio formats.
The pop-rap track, which blends rhythm-driven production with gospel messaging, is scheduled for release in late March and has already begun receiving early airplay in several central radio markets.
Stokes’ previous single, Save Your Soul, achieved notable success in 2025, reaching No. 3 on New Music Weekly’s Top 40 chart and holding the No. 4 position from Thanksgiving through mid-February 2026. The track also climbed to No. 1 on Christian Voice Magazine’s Urban Gospel chart and No. 8 on its Christian Contemporary airplay chart.
The artist, who often reflects on new ideas during early morning walks with his Siberian Husky, says those quiet moments help him visualize future projects.
“My Husky always tells me, ‘Just go outside; you’ll feel better,’” Stokes said. “Walking helps me reflect and map out the next steps creatively.”
Stokes serves as creative director of Serving the Peace Entertainment, the production and media company behind his music releases and film projects. As part of the Good News rollout, the company is developing a coloring book inspired by the song’s artwork and themes, combining biblical scripture with illustrated scenes meant to evoke childlike wonder.
“The idea behind the ‘Good News’ coloring book is exploring the concept of becoming like little children,” Stokes said. “It’s about rediscovering a sense of openness and wonder toward the Kingdom of Heaven.”
The music campaign will also include the release of “Kingdom (Praise Worship Mix),” a gospel-focused radio single featuring Stephen Voyce, aimed at expanding the artist’s reach within faith-based music audiences.

Beyond music, Stokes has also been building momentum in the film world. His docuseries The Bad Boy of Gospel Experience, which he created and serves as showrunner for, has already received more than a dozen official film festival selections, along with several awards and nominations.
The series was named Best TV Series and Best Short Documentary at the New York Movie Awards and is also a finalist at the Oregon Documentary Film Festival.
Serving the Peace Entertainment, a SAG signatory production house, plans a commercial release for the docuseries in late fall 2026.
Stokes, who has charted internationally across platforms including iTunes, Amazon, and radio, continues to expand his creative footprint through music, film, and merchandise as his brand evolves.
With the upcoming single, merchandise line, and docuseries rollout, the artist says the next phase of his work is centered on delivering uplifting content across multiple media platforms.
The goal,” Stokes said, “is simply to share good news“.
