The two high scoring offenses of the Green Bay Packers and  Atlanta Falcons meet again for a second time this season – except this time the winner heads to the Super Bowl and the loser goes home. This being the last game in the Falcon’s Georgia Dome, it’s destined to be a good one.

Taking into consideration both of the team’s shaky, inconsistent defenses – this game could easily become extremely high-scoring, breaking past the over/under of 60+ points.

Throughout the 2016-2017 season, the Falcons lead the league in scoring, with Matt Ryan nailing 38 touchdowns in the regular season. However, the Green Bay Packers are no pushover either, as shown in last weekend’s game when Rodger’s lit up the Cowboys’ defense.

”I don’t know if we’re going to have to win 6-3 or 40-37,” said offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.

Of those choices, 40-37 seems to be the likely candidate as both their defenses weren’t the greatest throughout the season. Both defenses don’t come near the statistics of their offensive counterparts.

During the season, the Packers and Falcons ranked 31st and 28th in pass defense. The Packers allowed 24.2 points per game which put them at 21st whereas the Falcons allowed 25.4 points per game which placed them at 27th.

Looking back to Oct. 3oth, Atlanta beat Green Bay by one point in their 33-32 victory.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Perry stated in an interview that, “They [Falcons] are very explosive. When we look at the film, we have to make sure we don’t give up those explosive plays. Everything lives off that. They are good at what they do. We are going to look at the film and go over it and make sure we prevent as much as we can of those guys giving up explosive plays.”

Perry’s main goal will be to limit and prevent big plays by the Falcons’ offense.

That’ll be the story of this Sunday for both teams, trying to limit the explosiveness of Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan. Only time will tell as we await the matchup of the two gunslingers in the last game at the Georgia Dome.

Prediction: Green Bay Packers 29, Atlanta Falcons 27
