This Sunday night we get an NFC North battle that sees two traditional rivals go up against one another. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers travel to Minnesota to take on the Minnesota Vikings. Last week Rodgers and company took care of business on the road, going down to Jacksonville and winning 27-23.

Meanwhile, the Vikings defense helped secure a road victory as well, defeating the Titans 25-16. It will be a battle of big-time offense versus top level defense. Who will prevail?

Green Bay is obviously led by Mr. Discount Double Check himself, Aaron Rodgers. As he goes, so do the Packers. This week he will be squaring off against a very talented defense, who essentially won the game for the Vikings last week. But the Packers offense is certainly head and shoulders above the Titans, and with more experience against Minny, Rodgers will find his spots. He has Jordy Nelson back this season, and should be able to utilize his plethora of weapons to help the team succeed. They only need to win by a field goal to cover.

The Vikings, on the other hand, will look to get their offense started. There is some uncertainty as to who will be under center this week, as Sam Bradford now has had more time to learn the playbook. Shaun Hill did not do enough last week to lock down the role for another week, so the starter remains in limbo for the time being. The team is also going to need to get the star back Adrian Peterson going, as he looked pretty bad last week against the Titans. With so much uncertainty on offense, it will need to be the defense that does the heavy lifting if the Vikings wish to come out on top.

The over/under sits right in the middle this week on this one. But given the questions surrounding the Vikings on offense, and their defense being a highly skilled unit, the over seems like a smart bet to me.

Line: GB -2.5, O/U: 44

Pick: Packers and the under

Result: Min 17 – GB 14, Vikings and the under
