CANTON, OH —  One night after the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 16-3 in the Hall of Fame Game, the Hall of Fame Fashion Show continued the pro-Steelers black and gold vibe during Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week over at the Canton Civic Center.

With Fox 8 News anchor and Alliance, Ohio-born media personality, Stefani Schaefer serving as host and emcee, the HOF Fashion Show would see the better halves of Mel Blount, Floyd Little and Steve Atwater walk the Canton Civic Center runway, along with some of the top fashion models from the area, and local-area singer, Siena Bella, Cleveland Dance Project providing musical entertainment, with guitarist Smokey Saratoga ending the show, with an accompaniment to Lenny Kravitz’s “American Woman”.

A part of Hall of Fame Enshrinement week since 1963, the Fashion Show showed off the designs of local designers, who’s looks were available for purchase at local stores in and around Canton.

In what didn’t come as much of a surprise to those in attendance, but thanks to the Pittsburgh Steelers playing the night before and with guard Alan Faneca, defensive backs Don Shell, Troy Polamalu and former head coach Bill Cowher and front office personnel man, Bill Nunn set to be enshrined over the weekend, the sight of one of the models rocking a Steeler jersey—complete with a Terrible Towel—made many in Canton feel like they were in the Steel City instead of an hour south of Cleveland.

The estimated crowd of 1,800 got to see New York-style fashion, a little bit of football flair and foods such as mini quiches, Korean BBQ chicken, fruit skewers and decadent chocolate chip brownies in and around the Canton Civic Center, which recently housed the Cleveland Cavaliers G-League affiliate, the Canton Charge.

With the fans back, if last night’s Hall of Fame game, and the show-stopping Fashion Show are any indication of how Enshrinement Week is going to go, then football-starved fans are about to get their fix, both on and off the field this season.
