Week ten of the NFL season is upon us, and with it comes a match-up between the top and bottom portion of the AFC South division. The division leading Houston Texans will hit the road, where they will travel to Florida to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who sit fourth in the division. The Texans are coming off a seven point victory at home against the Detroit Lions two weeks ago, followed by a bye last week. The Jaguars on the other hand, continue their downward trend, having lost in Kansas City in week nine.

The Texans are an interesting team. They have a solid defense and nice offensive weapons. But their offensive leader, quarterback Brock Osweiler, is pretty awful. As a result, the team has won all five of their home games, and lost all three of their road games. This week in a match-up against the lowly Jaguars, they should be pretty big favorites. But because they are on the road, they are only favorite by a point and a half. Is this finally the week they break out of their road funk? Or will they continue to pile up losses when away from home?

As for Jacksonville, they are hands down one of the biggest disappointments of the 2016 NFL season. Blake Bortles has taken a step back as opposed to the step forward that many were expecting from him. The team is currently in the middle of a three game losing streak, and has only won two games on the season. Their only two victories on the season have come on the road, in London and Chicago. So they are not exactly rolling in home field advantage.

Since the Jaguars have done nothing to prove they can win at home, I will throw the Texan road blues to the side in this one. Houston is certainly two points better than Jacksonville this season, even if I cannot stand Osweiler. I know I will regret it, but I simply cannot trust the Jags right now.
