INSCMagazine: Get Social!

Impractical Jokers is one of the most entertaining shows on television. If you have never seen it before, you need to check it out. It is on TruTv, and they usually have marathons of it going most days so you can watch the hilarity at any time. It sees four friends, Joe, Murr, Sal and Q compete in challenges with hidden cameras, with the loser getting punished at the end of each episode.

Each joker has a fan base of their own, with each man bringing something different to the table. Yesterday we took a look at Joe, the shameless one, and his top five moments over the course of the first five seasons. You can check that article out here. Sal is always fun when he breaks out his dance moves or falls over from laughter. Murr is scared of heights, and some of his better moments come when genuine fear shows through.

Finally there is Q. Brian “Q” Quinn is the man who loves his cats, compared to Rosie O’Donnell a lot and a homeless man. He is usually the awkward one of the bunch. When he needs to approach people, he tends to hesitate. Sometimes he is just very blunt about what he needs to do, and it usually ends up with a great moment.

This Thursday the show will be having a live season five finale, named Nitro Circus. Over the course of those five seasons, Q has amassed so many funny moments. So needless to say, weeding things down to a top five was not easy. So yes, there are going to be plenty of funny moments that did not make the cut. But I can assure, the five moments below are ones that will leave you rolling on the floor. Without any further ado, here are Q’s top five moments from Impractical Jokers.

5) Mentos and Diet Coke

Everyone knows if you drop Mentos in diet soda, the soda shoots out of its bottle in an explosion. And it just so happens the Jokers hid a roll of Mentos under the counter when Q was playing a cashier. When a customer came to his register with a two liter bottle of Diet Coke, the perfect storm had formed. And of course Q couldn’t just drop one mint into the bottle, but the entire roll. The speed of the explosion plus Q’s reaction to try and stop it were simply perfect. The customer and her son seemed amused as well. It also opens with a reference to the number two clip on this list.

4) Boom I’m eating your grapes

This is one of those clips where Q starts being his awkward self when around strangers. He cannot seem to start the challenge, as stealing things from strangers’ carts is not easy. Then he tries to take a tomato from someones cart and says it directly to the customer, but she was having none of it. Things are topped off when a man leaves his cart, and as soon as he starts eating the man’s grapes, he begins to brag about it. Upon the man’s return he questions Q “what is wrong with you?”, to which Q has a priceless response.

3) What does that mean?

This may go down as one of the best responses a joker ever received from a stranger. It starts off with Q throwing out some classic lines while trying to get a handshake. But this man was having none of it, as he was so confused. If you are a fan of the show, the phrase “what does that mean?” is certainly in your dictionary. Q’s top three moments are all classic, and this one could easily be number one. It is that laugh out loud funny.

2) Hey Mustache!

One of the first few episodes in the shows history may very well be its best. It featured Q’s top two moments in a single episode. First up, the Costco challenge. Q’s interactions with the elderly women are pretty funny, but then comes the man with the mustache. Fans of the show will great to anyone with a mustache with a “Hey Mustache!” every time. It is a go to saying for all Impractical Jokers fans.

1) Welcome to the Castle of White!

My favorite challenge of all time comes from the same episode as the Costco clip. During a challenge at White Castle, Q provides the single greatest challenge of all time. It provides not one, but two rolling on the floor moments. First off, the old English bit. The Castle of White has become a classic skit, and probably the best in the shows history. Follow that up with the freezing bit in the same challenge, and we not only have Q’s top moment, but the show’s top moment.

And here is the second part.

So what do you think? Do you agree with these five moments as being the best of Q’s time on Impractical Jokers through five seasons? Or are there any other moments that deserve to be on this list? Tell us in the comments!
