When asked about the award and what it means for INSCMagazine, Founder, Publisher and CEO, Robert D. Cobb stated that consistency in producing quality content is key,
“Content is king. Distribution is queen. Quality is the pope that trumps all. One thing that I take pride in hanging my hat on in running INSC is the quality of content that we post consistently.
Content defines your brand, and the quality of said content can either make or break a blog, especially in today’s Age Of Social Media. Certain websites can put up mediocre to poor content and make it only so far. I’d rather be happy seeing 20 quality blogs from us as opposed to 200 crappy to half-ass and barely readable copy from them.”
When asked what defines INSCMagazine as a brand, Cobb reiterated quality, and that The Inscriber is more than just sports.
“As I stated before, quality and consistency is key. I have a simple mantra; Quality > Quantity. which means that we at INSC value quality content that we can post with pride over less than subpar content that other sites try to peddle as “keeping it real” or being anti-PC.
We are slowly moving towards an age of unapologetic, raw and unfiltered opinion-based content, while this transition is happening, we are all about being above that and sticking to the core values of the growing INSC brand of class, professionalism, quality, being progressive and yet different.
We are not ESPN, FOX Sports, Bleacher Report nor SB Nation, nor do we aim to be, nor aspire to go head-to-head with them. We have found and identified our own unique niche in lifestyle, culture and interviewing some quality individuals.
We love sports and cover them as well, but what some people are missing is that sports IS a lifestyle, so in saying that, we also have done a good job in covering that as well!”
When asked what to expect from INSC in 2018 and beyond, Cobb gave this answer;
“I like to play my cards close to the vest, you will just have to wait and see!”
