With Week One of the 2025-26 NFL season now in the books, there were truly some epic early-season matchups that could very well determine who will meet out in Santa Clara at Super Bowl LX, here are my top ten power rankings of the season so far.
.) Philadelphia Eagles: Call it “The Spit Game” things always get spicy between The Birds and The Boyz, and their latest chapter didn’t disappoint down in South Philly.
.) Buffalo Bills: The projected favorite by many to finally come out of the AFC, while Josh Allen can play like he’s a real-life Madden quarterback, the main thing that will haunt this Bills team is can they finally beat No.15?
.) Kansas City Chiefs: Speaking of which, if their loss down in Sao Paolo is any indication, Mahomes may need some of that State Farm insurance due to a very suspect offensive line, if he hopes to make it to Santa Clara in one piece.
.) Baltimore Ravens: The Bills are to the Ravens, what the Chiefs are to Buffalo—and mainly everyone in the league not named the Eagles and Bengals. Weird right?
.) Green Bay Packers: If there is possibly one true contender to the Eagles throne, it is the newly-formed Micha Parsons led defense and Jordan Love taking another big step this year.
.) Los Angeles Chargers: There is just something about a Jim Harbaugh team in Year 2. San Diego, Stanford, San Francisco, Michigan. Can the Chargers continue this trend. I’d say that the Bolts went from dolts to the newest bully on the Chiefs block overnight.
.) Washington Commanders: After a strong start to their season, they head to Lambesu to get a good closeup look at old nemesis, Micah Parsons and that newly-revamped forementioned Packers defense on national TV.
.) Detroit Lions: This may either be too high for them, or too low considering how they looked against—you guessed it, Micha Parsons—these Motor City Kitties either get their much needed tuneup or get out in the shop for a minute.
.) Cincinnati Bengals: They barely escaped Myles Garrett and the lowly Browns, but they still have Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase and one of the league’s most explosive offenses to keep them afloat.
.) Pittsburgh Steelers: Yes! It was the Jets and against former QB1 Justin Fields, but A-Rod may have found his groove again. Watch out.
