Forget the “soft landing” talk. Researcher and author Florin Alexandru Stan is warning that the global economy is currently sitting on a seismic fault line. According to Stan, while the stock market looks shiny thanks to AI, the foundation is cracking.

Why he’s worried:

  1.       Invisible Debt: Massive unregulated credit markets are reaching a breaking point.
  2. The K-Shaped Gap: The wealthy are riding the AI wave, while everyone else is drowning in housing and food costs.
  3. The Skills Gap: We have more debt than talent. Professor Stan argues that your degree or your portfolio won’t save you; only “knowledge-based resilience” will.

His advice? Stop betting on permanent growth. Instead, invest in “Self-Currency” (future-proof skills) and dump high-interest debt before the credit crunch hits.
