Yoga is a process of liberation and self-discovery, which involves concentration, physical poses, and deep breathing. It is a practice that is done for spiritual, physical, and mental health as it is a source of strength, peace, balance, relaxation, calmness, and flexibility for a person. Being an ancient methodology that helps us live with intention, connects us with our truth, and allows us to make decisions for our overall betterment, Yoga is a meditative practice that allows us to purify and transform our souls, minds, and bodies. Yoga gives us the opportunity to comprehend the true nature of the universe and it also puts a person on a path of self-discovery.

Over the last few years, yoga has become a global phenomenon and many people including celebrities practice it for its spiritual and physical benefits. Intending to educate people on yoga sciences, Jason Milne founded Apex Life.

Born on October 7, 1972, in Manhattan, New York, USA, and raised in Darien, Connecticut, USA, Jason Milne graduated with a Master of Education degree from the National University, San Diego, CA, USA, and possesses various diplomas and credentials in several aspects of the health and wellness industry.

He was first introduced to yoga for relieving his chronic low-back pain but after experiencing the tremendous physical benefits of practicing yoga, Jason immersed himself in the study and teaching of the therapeutic, spiritual, and esoteric aspects of this science. It has been twenty years since he has been practicing yoga. This has helped him a lot in teaching yoga techniques on a professional level across the world for the past fifteen years.

Jason started his venture by completing a 200-hour yoga teaching course in 2006, where he learned Ashtanga/Vinyasa styles of practice. In 2007, he completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training course with Agama Yoga (Thailand) focusing on Hatha Yoga practices. Jason also completed over 1,000 hours of study and graduated from the 24 levels of Hatha and Kundalini Yoga training at Agama Yoga in 2010.  In 2014, Jason graduated from the 500-hour Therapy Yoga training program and the 500-hour Tantra Yoga program at Agama Yoga.  He completed the 300-hour Universal Yoga training with Andre Lappa in 2017.  In addition, Jason has studied with several teachers in India, including the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, and with various teachers in America.

Jason is a registered E-RYT 500 teacher with the Yoga Alliance. In his fifteen years of teaching yoga, Jason has been the manager/lead teacher in four 500-hour, three-month, yoga teacher training programs with Agama Yoga, as well as being the co-teacher in seven other Agama Yoga 500-hour teacher training programs.  He has also been the co-teacher in seven 200-hour YTTs with Tribe Yoga in Rishikesh, India, and with Anna Sugarman Yoga in Thailand.

Having trained in yoga therapy, Jason can create practices that are specifically designed to meet each individual’s needs and goals. He enjoys sharing a wide variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Chakra, Yin, traditional Kundalini, Power, Tantra Yoga, alignment-focused Yoga, and Yoga Therapy.  His classes often blend a combination of techniques from various forms of yoga to create sequences that guide students to flow into stillness, with a strong emphasis on breathing practices and meditation to balance and purify the entire being.

In 2012, Jason created, managed, and taught at the Ananda Yoga Sanctuary which is a not-for-profit, free yoga school for the local community on the island of Maui in Hawaii. He is currently teaching workshops and training courses internationally to share yoga with anyone who has an interest in self-development. He utilizes his extensive experiential knowledge of the science of yoga to create classes, for absolute beginners as well as advanced practitioners, that facilitate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing through the emphasis on working with the subtle energies of the body and nature to balance all aspects of each individual.

Jason’s ability to simplify complex issues with intuitive wisdom, humor, and balanced sensitivity creates a safe space for his students and clients to go deeper into self-empowerment and realize their best selves. His teaching empowers people with busy and modern lives to learn transformative and efficient techniques and practices that enable people to balance and heal themselves with minimum time and effort. He has devoted his life to the study, practice, and teaching of yoga, and thousands of hours of practice have given him a deep understanding of the many techniques and benefits of this profound science.

In 2020, Jason, together with his wife Dalia Milne, co-created a life coaching platform Apex Life, offering various online pieces of training on the subjects of conscious relationships, yoga, tantra, qigong, life, and couples coaching. Together the couple shares their mutual experience and knowledge in various workshops, immersions, teacher training courses, and private counseling sessions. Apex Life offers tools such as video courses, workshops, retreats, training, and personalized coaching programs. Physical practices, nutrition, breathing techniques, energy work, concentration techniques, meditation, mindfulness, and mindset coaching can all help an individual reach their full potential. Their workshops also include techniques for amplifying and harnessing sexual energy for better health, healing, creativity, energy, and intimacy.

Jason has gratefully devoted his life to the study, practice, teaching, and sharing of yoga around the world. He feels a deep sense of gratitude for the art and science of yoga that enabled him to heal himself and his mission is to share the transformational teachings with those who want to fulfill their innate potential and step into their full spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical state.
