SAVED BY THE STREETS MINISTRY, INC. has lawfully and peacefully taken faith-based possession of 511 E Adalee Street, transforming a long-neglected property into a community-serving station. This site had previously posed serious environmental, health, and public safety concerns—ranging from rotted food contamination, inoperable appliances, to room-wide hoarding and trash piles.
With good faith and ministerial stewardship, the ministry has since conducted lawful cleaning, charitable donation efforts, and community-oriented sanitation remedies. The occupation is supported by Florida law and does not involve any eviction or displacement.
The ministry remains in compliance with:
• Florida Statutes § 95.18 – Adverse Possession Without Color of Title
• Florida Statutes § 196.196 – Religious Use Property Tax Exemption
• Florida Statutes § 871.01 – Protection from Unlawful Disturbance of Religious Assemblies
• Florida House Bill 621 (HB 621) – Clarification of Unlawful Entry vs. Faith-Based Lawful Occupation
As of this date, all visible health violations have been remedied, and evidence of charitable disposal and donation has been documented. Law enforcement and the public are advised that this is a protected religious site under active ministry restoration, public benefit use, and lawful civil possession.
