Two teams who have suffered three losses on the season will face off in week ten of the NFL season. The once dominant Minnesota Vikings will travel to the Nation’s Capital to take on the Washington Redskins. The Vikings will come into this game off their third straight loss, having lost to the Detroit Lions a week ago. The Redskins come off their bye week, and prior to that had a game end in a tie against the Bengals out in London.

The Vikings started this season off with five straight victories. But then they went on their bye, and they lost all of their momentum. Since returning in week seven, the team has lost three straight, including two road games. The offense has been virtually non-existent in those three games, scoring a combined 36 points. Sam Bradford and the offensive unit need to find a solution, and a weak defense will certainly help. It just so happens the Redskins like to give up at least 20 points in most games they play.

The Redskins have not won a game since week six. They started the season by losing two straight, but then went on to win four in a row. Then they would suffer another loss, and then the tie. At home, the club has split their four games. So they have not exactly been taking advantage of home field advantage, which explains why they are only favored by three points. Given how the Vikings started and have a scary good defense, the fact that Washington and their poor defense are favored is mainly because they are home. Put those things together and I think we have a favorite who could be in danger this week.
