Below is my Post-Super Bowl mock draft, where I analyze potential moves for each team in the first round. When deciding each team’s pick, I weighed the value and need in combination with schematic fit.

1. Cleveland Browns- Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson

I said in my previous mock draft that the Cleveland Browns might not be guaranteed a top-tier quarterback at pick 12 and I think today is a good day to explore that scenario. Watson’s deep ball is pretty inconsistent, however, his arm strength and intermediate accuracy should give him some success in Hue Jackson’s offense.

2. San Francisco 49ers Myles Garrett, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Niners get the draft’s best overall player here, Garrett is powerful and his athleticism on the edge will give a much-needed boost to their pass rush.

3. Chicago Bears- DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame

Kizer isn’t my number two QB, but he’ll likely hold that spot for the Bears. His arm strength and build appear to be ideal for what Ryan Pace would want. Additionally, he’d be perceived as more prepared to start day one than any other quarterback.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars- Solomon Thomas, DL, Stanford

After previous moves in the draft as well as free agency, the Jaguars still haven’t built a great pass rush. Thomas is the powerful and explosive player that could give this team a boost.

5. Tennessee Titans- (via St. Louis Rams) Sidney Jones, CB, Washington

The Titans fill a huge hole at corner.  I’m sure that some might see five as a little high for jones, but his man-coverage skill, explosiveness, and aggression versus the run makes him too special to pass up for this team.

6. New York Jets-  Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech

Jets fans will have an obvious risk to take as it appears likely they’ll have to take a QB here. Trubisky and Mahomes both have risks associated with them, I’ll give the Jets the passer with the highest upside. Mahomes has a big arm and great downfield accuracy, in time I think this move pays off.

7. Los Angeles Chargers- Ryan Ramcyzk, OT, Wisconsin

Ramcyzk has a strong lower body and he was one of the best left tackles in the nation last season. An added incentive for LA to take him might be blocking for another former badger, Melvin Gordon.

 8. Carolina Panthers- Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU

Ron Rivera let it be known earlier in the week that Cam Newton can’t be their primary rusher. With little value available at offensive tackle, I think this is the best value for the Panthers here. Cook’s speed and versatility will give their offense a huge boost.

9. Cincinnati Bengals-Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt

Many mocks have them taking Reuben Foster, but based on the tape I see Cunningham as the best linebacker in the country by a wide margin. He’s a much needed addition to Cincy’s front seven.

10. Buffalo Bills- Corn Elder, CB, Miami

The Bills could lose some depth at corner during free agency, might not be a bad move to snag a potential starter with great length, athleticism, and impressive ball skills.

11.  New Orleans Saints- Takkarist McKinley, EDGE, UCLA

This selection is pretty high for McKinley, but I don’t think the Saints will resist the urge to take a pass rusher here. McKinley is pretty raw but has some explosiveness and natural athleticism. He should give their pass rush some help, and he’ll also set the edge versus the run.

12. Cleveland Browns ( via Philadelphia Eagles)- Charles Harris, DE, Missouri

It still kind of works out for the Browns in the first round. They get themselves a pass rusher with impressive bend and sound hand usage. Harris is a fluid athlete and I think a strong combine showing can propel him to this spot.

13. Arizona Cardinals- DeDe Westbrook,WR, Oklahoma

The Cardinals might take a receiver early in this years draft. No Michael Floyd and an aging Larry Fitzgerald could open up a hole for a number one or “X” receiver. Westbrook is savvy, athletic, and dangerous after the catch.

14. Indianapolis Colts- Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

Fournette is actually the third running back on my board, but I think the Colts will select him due to his physical style and power. They really need to lock down the running back position with a long term starter.

15. Philadelphia Eagles- Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan

Davis is lower on my board than most, but if he tests well I’m sure teams will be likely to take him pretty high in the first round. This pick could give the Eagles a solid possession receiver and provide much-needed help for Carson Wentz.

16. Baltimore Ravens- Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio State

Hooker’s ball skills and athleticism are very impressive on tape and the Ravens will find him too tempting to pass up at 16. If Hooker wasn’t banged up, he’d probably be selected a little higher.

17. Washington Redskins- Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama

Jonathan Allen’s tape shows a blend of power and technique that will be hard for the ‘Skins to overlook. He can play the 3-technique in nickel situations and he could earn reps as a five tech in their base defense.

18. Tennessee Titans- Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech

If he tests well, middle to late first is good value for Ford. His smooth route running ability and knack for beating the press would make him a reliable possession receiver.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- John Ross, WR, Washington

Ross’ speed and technique would make him a great complement to Mike Evans and help aid the development of Jameis Winston.

20. Denver Broncos-Erik Magnuson, OT, Michigan

Magnuson is a solid athlete and was among the best right tackles in the nation in 2016. His ability to absorb bull power rush technique and contain speed moves could make him a very good offensive tackle.

21. Detroit Lions- Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa

Johnson is a top player in this class, but need pushes him this down this far in the draft.  His strength, agility, and hand usage are special and give the Lions a penetrating defensive tackle.

22. Miami Dolphins-Demarcus Walker, DE, Florida State

Walker was shifted from the edge to the interior a lot at Florida State and I think his best use is as a strong side defensive end. His technique as a pass rusher and power versus the run make him a good candidate to contribute immediately to the Dolphins.
23. New York Giants- Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame

Jones has been completely overlooked by draft analysts, in part due to his injury history. However, he had a great season at Notre Dame this year and has the technique and athleticism should make the Giants a little optimistic.

24. Oakland Raiders- Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford

Raiders get the best player left on my board with this pick. McCaffrey’s athleticism and style make him every-down back material in the NFL. I think he’ll be an immediate contributor and receive the bulk of their carries in 2017.

25. Houston Texans- Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina

It didn’t take the Texans long at all to see the light regarding Brock Osweiler, and it wouldn’t be wise to assume Tom Savage is going to be much better. The Texans are candidates to draft Trubisky if he’s available; his decision-making ability and accuracy should at least make him an upgrade at the position.

26.Seattle Seahawks-  Cam Robinson, OT/OG, Alabama

The Seahawks need tackles very badly, I see Robinson as more of a guard, regardless I think Seattle picks him and figures it out.

27. Kansas City Chiefs- Tedric Thompson, FS, Colorado

As of right now, it’s possible the Chiefs may part ways with Eric Berry. He’s not the best tackler, but Thompson’s ball skills and coverage instincts make him an appealing prospect.

28. Dallas Cowboys- Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan

Dallas could use a more depth at corner, Lewis’ instincts and explosiveness make him a candidate to start early in his career as a Cowboy.

29. Green Bay Packers- Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State

Lattimore gives the Packers depth at corner and a player who brings explosiveness and aggression versus the run to their secondary.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers- Pat Elflein, OG/C, Ohio State

Elflein is great as a run blocker and can contribute as a starter if he continues his improved pass protection. On tape, I was most impressed with his lateral agility when pulling in counter situations.

31. Atlanta Falcons- Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida

This is a little high of a selection for Brantley, but if he tests well I’ll bet someone takes a chance on him within this range. He’s agile, has great hand usage, and a strong understanding of leverage and how to win at the point of attack.

32. New England Patriots-  Curtis Samuel, WR, Ohio State

Whether the fallout from the Michael Floyd signing causes them to shy away from him or not, Samuel can is a solid receiver they can rely on. He can play in the slot right away and possibly finds a role as an X receiver in that offense.
