MIAMI – Thanks to a career-high 61 points in a 124-107 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, LeBron James sent a message to both the Indiana Pacers and Kevin Durant that he is still the King.

Message received.

Hoping to land the top seed in the East, James scored a franchise-high and career-high 61 points in 41 minutes. For the game, James went 22-of-33 from the field, including eight of ten from three-point range. James would also have seven rebounds and five assists.

Going into the game against the upstart Charlotte Bobcats, James had heard constantly about the scoring prowess of Durant and the Pacers need to secure home court.

Thanks to an impressive and awe-inspiring display, James served notice that despite Durant’s prolific scoring touch and the Pacers wish for home-court, that he is still the top dog in the league and that Miami is still the champions until proven otherwise.

Now it is up to Durant and the Pacers to hold serve in the post-season.
