NCAA Basketball : G Marcus Smart Shoves Fan In Upset Loss To Red Raiders (VIDEO)

LUBBOCK – Down 63-61 with 6.2 seconds left against Texas Tech, Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart channeled his inner Ron Artest.

Smart, a sophomore guard for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, shoved a Texas Tech fan after chasing down an potential layup by Jaye Crockett off of a Cowboys turnover. After falling out of bounds behind the basket, Smart would be helped up, appeared to get into a verbal altercation with a elder Red Raiders fan before shoving him. Smart would be assessed a technical foul, Crockett would convert for the Red Raiders to help them clinch their second win over a ranked team this season, and only their second in 37 attempts over the last five seasons.

For the game, Smart scored 22 points, four rebounds and two assists.
