i After struggling at the foul line, Aaron Craft would redeem himself when it counted most.

Craft, who would miss two one-and-ones, would make a game winning three point shot—his only one of the game—with half a second left to help Ohio State defeat the Iowa State Cyclones 78-75 in the West regional in Dayton.

Craft, would finish with 18 points, six assists and two steals.

After a wild week of upsets, the 2nd-seeded Buckeyes looked like they were primed to be the fifth top seed to go down to a lower seed.

Led by Deshaun Thomas’s 22 points, the Buckeyes were locked in a tight ball game with a feisty Cyclone squad, who would tie the game late before Craft’s heroics.

For the Buckeyes, they escape both a personal house of horrors in Dayton and emerge as the lone high seed remaining in a otherwise decimate West bracket, and on to the Sweet 16 for a school record fourth straight year.
