We have our second London game of the season this week. Following the Jaguars and Colts a few weeks back, this week will see the New York Giants take on the Los Angeles Rams across the ocean. It will be a battle of 3-3 teams. The Giants snapped out of a losing streak a week ago, as they defeated the Baltimore Ravens by the score of 27-23 at home, although it was not without controversy. The Rams however, suffered their second straight loss, this time on the road in Detroit.

The Giants saw Odell Beckham finally wake up with a monster game. It did come after the Ravens defense was decimated by injuries. But none the less, he has awoken, and it will be interesting to see if he can carry the momentum moving forward. The teams play as a whole simply has not been that great over the last few weeks, and they will need to ride any momentum they can. Their remodeled defense, which looked real good to start the season, has given up 24, 23 and 23 points the last three weeks. The team simply has not convinced me that they are fully back on the right track, which always worries me with a favorite.

The Rams are not exactly playing lights out either. Their defense has been banged up for a few weeks now, and it has shown. That unit is the heart and soul of the team, and with their injuries, the team has suffered. They have given up over 30 points for two straight weeks, and traveling over to England is not exactly the best remedy for a beat up club. Their offense did manage to put up 28 points on the Lions a week ago, but the Giants do have a much better defense compared to Detroit.

I am expecting a pretty ugly game. A low scoring affair that sees the teams trade punts and turnovers. I do not like either team honestly, and when that is the case, I have a rule. Take the team with the points.
