  • Charlotte Bobcats Clinch Playoff Birth, Down Cavs 96-94 in OT : Thanks to 24 points from All Jefferson, the Charlotte Bobcats clinched their second-ever playoff berth with a 96-94 win in overtime in Cleveland. The Bobcats (39-38) currently hold the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland, 3.5 games back got a career-high 44 points from two-time All-Star point guard, Kyrie Irving, who refuted reports that he wants out of Cleveland for the second time in as many weeks.

  • Kentucky Holds Off Wisconsin, Advances to Title Game vs. UConn : Thanks to a three-pointer from Aaron Harrison with 3.7 seconds left, the eighth-seeded Kentucky Wildcats continued their improbable Final Four run in beating undefeated Wichita State, defending national champion Louisville, and national runner-up, Michigan, added another notch to their belt with a nail-biting 74-73 over the No.2 Wisconsin Badgers. Kentucky, which was the pre-season No.1, got off to a slow start, but thanks to the emergence of frosh phenoms Julius Randle and Aaron Harrison are now in position to win their ninth national title.  Their opponent, UConn, dispatched of the top-ranked—and top overall seed—Florida Gators, 63-53 will be playing for their fourth.
