Week two was a week of comebacks and clutch defense for two NFC North heavyweights as the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears used impressive second half defense to come away with victories. This is NFC North week two round up.

Packers over come 21-3 deficit to down Jets in Lambeau opener:  The New York Jets thought they had the game in hand when they jumped out to a 21-3 lead over the Packers in the Lambeau Field opener. Aaron Rodgers had different ideas, and the Packers did not give in to Rex Ryan’s defense, as the Packers stormed back for a 31-24 victory.

Rodgers was 25 of 42 for 346 yards to go with three touchdowns, including the 80-yard game winner to receiver Jordy Nelson with 2:08 remaining in the game. Nelson caught nine passes for 209 yards including the game winning touchdown as Green Bay advanced to 1-1 on the season.

Bears force four turnovers and come away with victory in Levi’s Stadium Opener: San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick committed four turnovers, three interceptions, against a Chicago Bears defense who came into the game hungry after a stinging home loss to the Buffalo Bills in their season opener.

Jay Cutler threw for four touchdowns and the Bears used a 21 point fourth quarter to beat the 49ers 28-20 in the debut of the new Levi’s Stadium. Three of the four touchdowns were caught by receiver Brandon Marshall, who caught five passes for 48 yards while playing on an injured ankle.

The defense as a whole played with more fire after falling to an early 17-0 deficit. Cornerback Kyle Fuller grabbed two interceptions and also led the Bears with seven total tackles. The Bears move to 1-1 on the season in what could be a kickstart for their defense heading into the rest of the season.
