In this age of social media, athletes such as Odell Beckham Jr. are masters of getting one’s attention.

Beckham, the uber-talented and yet troubled and talented wide receiver currently with the New York Giants, was spotted out in Westwood working out with projected top five pick in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft in Josh Rosen–another Cleveland possible draft day target–using a football with a Browns logo on it per pop culture website, Busted Coverage.

Additionally, the official UCLA Football Twitter account posted a picture of OBJ holding the Browns-logo adorned football.

In the headlines for being caught on video with a half-naked woman smoking what appears to be weed and snorting cocaine, Giants co-owner John Mara came out publicly stating that basically the Giants are shopping him and are done with him, as they are fielding offers with a minimum of a reported two first rounders.

While he may be a headache off the field with his antics, on it, he is one of the NFL’s most dynamic playmakers in both receiving and kick returns as he has amassed 313 catches for 4,424 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns in his four years in Gotham.

Could he have been sending smoke signals to the Browns new uber-aggressive GM John Dorsey, who also recently traded for his longtime BFF from college, Jarvis Landry.

If this is a proverbial SOS, the Browns may be inclined to meet New York’s stiff asking price in possibly offering the fourth overall pick, the 33rd overall pick, next year’s No.1 and possibly WR Corey Coleman. If this were to happen, Cleveland would have perhaps the NFL’s deadliest WR corps in Landry, Beckham, Josh Gordon and TE David Njoku.

It may be a steep price, but if were to land one of the NFL’s premier playmakers and team him up with his old college buddy and have one of the most dynamic dual-threat QB’s in Tyrod Taylor throwing him the ball, then it may be worth it.

The only question that remains to be answered now is, when will Dorsey call up Dave Gettleman to talk a little business on draft night?
