If you are a fan of the popular ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, chances are you have seen British import Camilla Luddington.

However, if you are a gamer and Tomb Raider fan, you may better know her as the voice of main antagonist Lara Croft.

Luddington, 31, has gradually risen up the ranks of talented actresses in Hollywood thanks to her roles in Californication as Lizzie and her first breakout role as the future Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton in the TV film, William and Kate.

The 5’5 native of Ascot, England, Luddington also had minor roles in Friends with Benefits and True Blood before landing her big break with Grey’s Anatomy in 2012 as Dr. Josephine “Jo” Wilson.

It wouldn’t be until 2013, that she would endear herself to a new legion of fan in doing the voice and motion capture of one of gaming’s most iconic characters in the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider.

A darker and more grittier origin story that followed the early formative years of Lara Croft as she searches for the lost city of Yamatai, Luddington spent three years doing all of the action, animation and death scenes of Lara Croft.

Set to reprise her role as Croft in the Siberian tundra-set sequel, Rise of The Tomb Raider, as she seeks to find the mythical city of Kitezh, will be released exclusively on XBOX 360 by Crystal Dynamics during the 2015 holiday season.

Make no mistake, whether she is trying to save lives in Seattle, or hunting down lost civilizations in Japan and Siberia, Luddington’s own star will only continue to shine.
