Ring In the New Year With Laughter
INSCMagazine: Get Social!

Are you looking to do something more exciting than your annual routine of watching the ball drop from the comfort of your couch on the television? Bars will be crowded and expensive. Parties can be fun, but it’s a big commitment. The perfect New Year’s Eve is so elusive.

For this year, why not really shake things up? You can celebrate New Year’s Eve this year and ring in 2020 with a night full of laughter at the Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club New Year’s Eve Show. Who doesn’t love to laugh? It’s a low-pressure outing that’s sure to be memorable and fun.

Giggle, chuckle, and laugh watching Kevin Israel and Jaclyn Marfuggi perform on December 31st, 2019, at 8 PM. With all this excitement, here is a quick guide to help you plan your visit to the event.

Where to Stay

This comedy-filled New Year’s Eve show will be held at the Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. This is a win-win combo, as you can go to the hotel for the comedy show, and then stay overnight and party it up as you see fit. No driving, no worries.

The Hyatt Regency Princeton offers guests an ultra-comfortable stay in their spacious and luxurious rooms that include Hyatt’s plush grand beds. Aside from comfort, the hotel also has a fitness center and an indoor heated pool so you can recover and detox from all the drinks and laughter you had at the event.

Getting Around

If you are coming in from out of town and are arriving at one of the major airports, then you will automatically have access to several rental car companies at the airport. Taking out a rental is the most convenient way to get around and offers the most flexibility. However, if you rather not drive a rental and are looking for another option, then taking a taxi (or something similar) and mass transit are your other modes of transportation.

From the event, the NJ Transit system will get you around the surrounding areas with ease. The Hyatt is also nearby one of the stations, connecting you to area attractions and beyond New Jersey to the neighboring states (and beyond those neighboring states using Amtrak).

Dining

If you are not chowing down at the event and prefer to dine elsewhere, there are several other food options within a 5-mile radius. For Mexican cuisine, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is a short drive away. Then there is P.F. Chang’s for Chinese cuisine, Corner Bakery Café for quick bites, Bobby Flay’s Bobby’s Burger Palace, Bahama Breeze for Caribbean cuisine, and Seasons 52 for American cuisine. If you’re looking for something comfortable and familiar, there’s also a TGI Fridays in close vicinity to the above-mentioned restaurants.

Other Attractions

Since you’ve changed up your annual New Year’s Eve routine this time around, why not explore the rest of the area while you’re at it. Princeton University is about 2-miles away from the event. There, you can explore the prestigious university and its grounds. You can check out their art museum or perhaps catch a performance at McCarter Theatre Center. If you like history, then you can also visit Morven Museum & Garden, Nassau Hall, Maclean House, and Albert Einstein’s House to just mention a few of the many things to see or do in the area.
