Tucked in the middle of the Canadian heartland, the largest city in the province of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon is called “Paris of the Prairies” and “Bridge City” due to its eight river crossings.
Named after the regional saskatoon berry that is native to the area, Saskatoon has been a cultural and economic hub if Canada since it’s incorporation in 1882 as a Temperance colony.
Home to the CFL Saskatchewan Rough Riders, it is a proverbial hockey hotbed in being home to players and coaches such as Carolina Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward, two-time Stanley Cup champions in forwards Brian Skrudland and Los Angeles Kings Jarret Stoll and Ottawa Senators forward Ryan Keller.
“Toon City” has also produced notable big-name entertainers such as as the late WWE heel/villain Rowdy Roddy Piper, Fringe’s Michael Eklund, wife of KISS frontman Gene Simmons, Shannon Tweed.
Could import glamour and bikini model Jen Nguyen be the latest to put the pow in POW City?
A diminutive 5’3, the Vietnamese-Canadian cutie has appeared in multiple import car magazine shows and publications such as Promotional Model, Driven To Perform, Hot Import Nights, Double XL Magazine, 2008 International Auto And Truck Show, Bikini Magazine and Glamour Magazine, Nguyen is one of the hottest and most sough-after models in the import and glamour modeling scene.
With a mesmerizing beauty and porcelain skin along with a slender and petite frame, the 24-year-old Saskatoon-born, Vancouver-raised Asian beauty is truly easy on the eyes and one you simply can’t take your eyes off of, when you gaze upon her.
Below is my Q and A with Jen as we talk about modeling, getting ready for fall and shooting in her native Vietnam.

What has been the best place you’ve been to and visited so far? Vietnam
What kind of model are you (IG, fitness, bikini, lingerie)? Bikini and glamour
How long have you been modeling? Over 10 years on and off, due to health struggles.
What first inspired you to become one? I think that every single woman that exists, is beautiful in her own unique way and I just want to showcase my art to represent and express women’s beautiful femininity ^.~
As a model, do you feel that more can be done by those in the industry? Why and why not? I think that with the help of social media, the world of modeling has expanded and improved tremendously, allowing more true talents to get discovered worldwide. However, this has also enabled many phony people to camouflage into the scene and take advantage of innocent, naive girls. So it is extremely important to do your research.
How do your loved ones and family feel about you being in modeling? They agree with me, in that it is a rewarding and healthy career, as it allows one to travel, explore the world, stay active, keep fit, and capture priceless moments and beautiful memories. It’s a wonderful way to get the best quality of life, and make money while doing it. I strive hard to portray a classy and respectful image, so my loved ones take pride in being a part of my life.
Where has been your favorite place to shoot? Elbow Waterfalls ❤
What is the most exciting aspect of modeling? Traveling and exploring this beautiful world, and indulging myself in the beauty of nature.
With fall right around the corner, what fashion and style tips and trends do you have for looking good when the temperature drops? Sexy leather and classy fur
What do you think exudes sexiness in a woman? Her intelligence
With temperatures getting colder, what do you recommend in terms of keeping things hot inside? Candles, romantic fireplaces, and hot tubs.
Most attractive quality in a man? Intelligence
Athleisure? Fashion or fitness fad? Lululemon
Within the industry, who is your modeling inspiration? Miranda Kerr~already a mother, yet still rockin’ it beautifully. I also have a weakness for dimples.
What is your workout and fitness secret to staying in shape? I’m vegan. In addition to that, modeling is a very active job. it is definitely harder work than most people think and imagine. Sometimes it requires hiking and even rock climbing, to get to shoot destinations.
What would you say is your best feature? My heart, but please don’t try to take advantage of my sweet nature.
Any future projects coming down the pipeline? I’m working on a few covers and potentially flying to Victoria, Florida, and New York for a few projects. But shhhh, I’d like to keep them a surprise!
Outside of modeling, what are your hobbies? Traveling, eating and singing.

What advice would you give to women aspiring to get into modeling? Do your research with any person or company that approaches you.
