Showbiz! One-On-One With ‘Bromans’ Star, Tian Delgado

INSCMagazine: Get Social!

A new take on a growing genre, ITV’s new reality show, ‘Bromans’, that places eight modern-day couples in Ancient Rome, is one of the most anticipated of 2017.

In being compared to everything from Love Island to Survivor, Bromans will ultimately find its way across the pond to American eyes. In this one-on-one interview, I speak with one of it’s contestants in former semi-pro football player and model, Tian Delgado—who is competing with his real-life girlfriend and model, Natalia Gemma Hillyard—about guilty pleasures, favorite teams, bucket lists and kicking it with Conor McGregor.

Name: Tian Delgado

Tell us some of your current guilty pleasures in music, TV, movies, video games and/or books. My guilty pleasure TV show is Grand Designs, lol. I get so in to it, I act like I’m the one designing the house. My other favourite TV series I am currently watching has got to be Power, I’m literally addicted to it and love all the action, violence and partying in it.

What song in your playlist is the most embarrassing to admit? I don’t really have any embarrassing music on my phone, I’m too cool for that, haha – but I do love grime music, as long as I remember I’ve been listening to grime.

Do you have any favourite sports teams and/or players? My favourite sports man has got to be Connor McGregor he’s just an all round top geezer ain’t he and he dresses amazing. You either love him or you hate him though.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be and why? if I was a cartoon character I’d probably be Patrick Starfish from Spongebob purely for the fact he’s so dopey and thick and, from my friends and family i can relate, haha.

If you could invite any three people, dead or alive, to dinner, who would they be? I’d have to bring Joey Essex, Connor McGregor and Jay from the Inbetweeners.  The three of them together would just make me laugh my head off all night – and it’s all about having a laugh isn’t it.

Name one place on your travel bucket list? Where do you want to go that you’ve yet to visit? My bucket list place to travel is Thailand. It just looks like an absolutely stunning place with so much to see and do, defiantly top of my list.

Any special hidden talents? My hidden talent is probably football – I used to play semi professional and had trials for top local teams.

A genie grants you three wishes – what are you asking for? If I had three wishes, I’d ask for wealth for myself and my family, health for them too, and to be able to fly id fly to Ibiza and live it up every weekend.

What is the best and worst thing about modelling? I think the best thing about modelling and being a TV star is being noticed and of course the money it can pay very well. The bad things are the abuse you get from the negative people, they call you horrible names and sometimes even make death threats.

What is your proudest accomplishment thus far in your career? My proudest accomplishment is securing a contract with my management agency Intrigue Management and also getting offered a modelling contract with a good modelling agency. Oh and starring in TV show Bromans was great too!

What is your best physical attribute and what is your best personality attribute? my best feature about myself would probably be my eyes because they’re an usual shade of green and not very common. My best personality trait has got to be my sense of humour, I’m such a witty and down to earth person, always up for a laugh and rarely take life seriously.

Who are your celebrity crushes, male or female? My celebrity Crushes would have to be Marnie from Geordie shore or Megan McKenna. They are both absolute sorts who seem down to earth funny and have a good dress sense. Nothing better than a gorgeous girl with banter and who can dress good.
