The SportsFix: Cleveland’s Best Kept Secret

Cleveland is a sports town with fanatics of all ages. The city and its loyal followers have endured pain and suffering with many of their teams. Through the good times and the bad times, fans have always been very vocal of their opinions. What if there was a way for fans to voice their opinion from a fresh new prospective?

Are you tired of mainstream Cleveland sports talk radio? Are you tired of waiting on hold to talk to the so-called experts that put you down when you finally do get to talk? Are you tired of long and boring commercials? More importantly, are you looking for a radio station that makes you feel good about your Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, Lake Erie Monsters, Ohio State Buckeyes, and covers all local teams?

When I had the pleasure to join The Sports Fix as a Cleveland Browns correspondent, a proven internet radio show broadcasted straight from the heart of Cleveland, I had no clue what to expect. What I have found is a refreshing new and different look at my favorite teams. What I found is a show that many of my friends and I are addicted to.

As a Cleveland Browns correspondent of the show every Friday, I enjoy sharing my thoughts and work with all of the listeners. Along with Jonathan Knight the sportswriter extraordinaire, Jeff Gorman from Browns 101, Dr.Bill Chachkes aka “Doctor Football”, Dan Wismar, John McMullen, local author Vince McKee and others, the show covers everything you need to know about your beloved Browns and Cleveland teams.

The Sports Fix is an internet radio show that runs live every weekday at noon for an hour and a half. It is broadcasted across the globe on iHeart radio, Mixlr, Spreaker, Soundcloud, Stitcher, and other applications. With celebrity guests like Joe Tait, Anderson Varajeo, Gary Waters, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Fred McLeod, Doug Plagens (voice of the Monsters), and many more, the show tackles everything Cleveland and sometimes national sports. Hosted by Cleveland homegrown former pro wrestler, Jerry “Big Daddy of Destruction” Mires, the show feeds off of listener interaction. Mires welcomes all input from his listeners and mentions them from whatever platform they’re on.

With daily giveaways, interesting guests, and straight up Cleveland sports talk, this weekday show is for all local and loyal fans that wear their heart on their sleeve. So for all the Cleveland fans that bleed all of the colors of this city and state, check out The SportsFix every week day at noon. You will soon discover Cleveland’s best kept secret.
