Short and sweet, The Byline Report will touch upon events with a blurb of facts and information, along with a small percentage of opinion. Without further ado, here are the news events for Sunday evening, August 11th, that are making headlines:

Jack Clark has already been fired for his reckless comments suggesting that Albert Pujols and JustinVerlander took performance enhancing drugs. Now he’s in the process of being sued by Pujols who said “I am currently in the process of taking legal action against Jack Clark and his employers at WGNU 920AM. I am going to send a message that you cannot act in a reckless manner, like they have, and get away with it. If I have to be the athlete to carry the torch and pave the way for other innocent players to see that you can do something about it, I am proud to be that person.”

The four individuals on horseback who spotted James Lee DiMaggio stated that he “stood out” in the Idaho back country. On Saturday the FBI caught up to abductor of 16-year old Hannah Anderson and ultimately got killed by authorities. He’s responsible for the murders of Hannah’s mother and eight-year old brother.

Hannah will reunite with her father.

Mike Bibby who did not play in the NBA during the 2012-2013 season wants to play one more season. In 14 seasons the point guard averaged 14.7 points, 5.5 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals on 43.6 percent shooting, 37.9 percent from beyond the arc and 80.2 percent from the free throw line.

His best season came in 2004-2005 as he averaged 19.6 points, 6.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals on 44.3 percent shooting, 36 percent from the three-point line and 77.5 percent from the free throw line.

World War Z may not have gone over well with critics, yet Brad Pitt gets the last laugh as the movie has gone over $500 million worldwide, which has become his highest grossing film surpassing the $497.3 million made by Troy.

Former MLB pitcher Curt Schilling had surgery for a heart attack in November of 2011. According to doctors he was pretty lucky as he experienced chest pains, yet didn’t believe that it was anything too serious. Once he returned from watching his wife run the New York City Marathon did he go to the hospital.
