Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce earlier today announced their engagement on Instagram this afternoon after dating for about two years. Their caption was “your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

While for many the announcement is not that surprising as Swift on August 13 did make her most recent appearance on the “New Heights” podcast where she spoke about her relationship with Travis once again. For those who had not listened to the podcast before it gave the new listeners an opportunity to understand where their relationship was at.

Still what makes Taylor’s appearance on “New Heights” even better is that because of her a Guinness World Record was set for those who simultaneously tuned in to YouTube and that was 1.3 million. Also, since it was posted less than two weeks ago there has been nearly 21 million views. On Instagram the announcement itself has over 23 million likes, while also showcasing the incredible engagement ring she was given.

Once again for those who do not know, Travis in July 2023 put his interest in Taylor out in the world from said podcast. It has obviously worked because now the two are getting married.
