¡Quién te Viera! is Luis’s homage to his Mexican roots, especially since he spent a significant among time away from his hometown to pursue his passion for music. He wrote and produced the EP in isolation during the pandemic. It also exhibits his hunger for learning and innovation as Luis introduced cinematic elements like sound effects and timpani, accompanied by traditional mariachi components.

Luis co-produced the EP with one of his mentors and multi-Latin Grammy nominees Marteen Andruet. Renowned musician Javier Zavaleta also played a role in the EP’s arrangement and musical direction.

The first EP has two songs. The first one, named after EP itself, is the artist’s contemplation about a person that had it all and lost it. In the meantime, the second track, Corazón que Miente, defines the battle between feelings and reason that everyone experiences.

Meanwhile, Calor, the second EP scheduled for a release next year, highlights Luis’s influences in the afro-Latin grooves influenced by his time in Cuba. He also worked closely with acclaimed dubstep producer Nanoo. The EP is an experimental journey of discovery. It combines the two musical genres to achieve perfect synergy, something that very few artists dared to explore. Only a few also reach an ideal balance between two contrasting musical genres.

Calor has three songs, Me Gusta Este Calor, Entregarse a Ti, and Adicto a tu Recuerdo. The first song, Me Gusta Este Calor, has a contagious rhythm and good vibes, inviting listeners to dance and enjoy the mix of digital and organic musical elements. Next, Entregarse a Ti is a unique dubstep ballad that tells of undeniable romanticism and passion. Lastly, Adictto a tu Recuerdo talks about an obsession with something fleeting and how humanity clings to sweet lies rather than facing the truth.

In both EPs, Luis works closely with his co-produces, intermarrying their musical expertise, strengths, and other elements to take listeners on a journey that explores humanity’s complexities and struggles through good music.

Luis has been interested in music since he was young. He began by learning how to play the piano and, later in life, the guitar. As Luis grew older, the artist sought musical knowledge through education. He went to Los Angeles and Cuba to learn about the vital keys in music production and other technical aspects. He applies everything he has learned to his music, a telltale sign that he’s always open to innovation for art. Throughout his career, Luis learned from some of the experts in the music industry and worked with internationally-acclaimed artists of today’s generation.
