LAS VEGAS, NV — The Las Vegas Aces are not just in the playoff hunt; they are in the midst of a historic late-season surge and look like a title contender.
After a shaky start to the season, the Aces have completely turned things around.
As of August 25, 2025, the Aces are in the playoffs with a 24-14 record. They are in a fierce battle with the Atlanta Dream and Phoenix Mercury for second and third place, which would secure the Aces a top-three position and home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Here is a breakdown of the Las Vegas Aces’ success:
• The Aces are currently on a 10-game winning streak, the longest regular-season winning streak for the franchise.
• During this incredible run, the Aces have had a triple-digit offensive rating in every game.
• A’Ja Wilson’s MVP-caliber play has been the driving force behind the Aces’ turnaround.
She has been on a tear, averaging 27.3 points, 13.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game during their winning streaks.
A’Ja recently became the first WNBA player to have multiple seasons with 10 or more 30-point games.
• A line-up change has provided a spark and improved the team’s chemistry and performance.
Currently, the Minnesota Lynx hold the No.1 playoff spot. Will the Aces be in second place?
