The WNBA announced its week 4 player of the week for the 2026 season (which covered games played from June 1 through June 7).  The honors went to a dominant former MVP in the East and a surging rookie sensation in the West.

Eastern Conference:  Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) voted player of the week for the second time this season.  Stewart anchored the Liberty through a stretch of the game, heavily carrying the load inside, finding her rhythm from mid-range, and locking down the paint defensively to keep New York trending at the very top of the standings.

Western Conference:  The rookie guard, Olivia Miles (Minnesota Lynx) secured her first Career Player of the Week honor after a breakout stretch.  Miles stepped up as a major offensive engine in the absence of Napheesa Collier.

Her Week was highlighted by an explosive shooting performance in which she knocked down eight three-pointers in a single game, leading the hot-shooting Lynx to the top of the Western Conference.
