COLLEGE PARK, Ga – The No. 6 seed, Indiana Fever, pulled off a stunning upset, defeating the No. 3 seed Atlanta Dream 87-85, in a thrilling Game 3 to advance to the WNBA Semifinals.

Here are the key points of the game:

  • A game-winning shot was made by Aliyah Boston with the go-ahead layup with just 7.4 seconds remaining, capping a 7-0 run for the Fever to close out the game.

  • The Fever’s defense was a significant factor in the final minutes as they held the Dream scoreless over the final 2:32 seconds of the game.

  • Kelsey Mitchell led the way for the Fever with a game-high 24 points. Aliyah Boston finished with a double-double, scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds.

  • Let’s not forget the Fever were missing several key players, including star guard Caitlin Clark, due to an injury earlier in the season.  The team showed incredible resilience throughout the series.  They bounced back from the game 1 loss to win two straight on the road to close the series.

  •. This was a historic win for the Indiana Fever, since they haven’t advancedd to the semifinals since 2015.

  •. The Indiana Fever will face the No. 2 seed Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA semifinals.
