Minneapolis, MN – The Phoenix Mercury have punched their ticket to the 2025 WNBA Finals!

They defeated the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx, 3-1, in the Semifinals to advance.  This marks the Mercury’s sixth WNBA Finals appearance in franchise history and the first since 2021.

The Phoenix Mercury will face the winner of the other dramatic Semifinals, (2) Las Vegas Aces vs the (6) Indiana Fever.

The status of the Aces/Fever game is tied 2-2, forcing a decisive Game 5.

Game 5 is a winner-take-all game scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, in Las Vegas.

The Mercury will await their opponent and have home-court advantage in the Finals if the Indiana Fever wins Game 5.  They will not have a home-court advantage if the Las Vegas Aces win.

Finals Schedule:

For the first time in the league’s history, the 2025 WNBA Finals will be a best-of-seven series for the first time in leagues history.

Game 1 of the WNBA Finals is scheduled to tip-off on Friday, October 3.
