February is always a strange month for WWE fans as it incorporates a small hangover from the Royal Rumble, and an anxious anxiety waiting on Wrestlemania to get here.

For the past 10 years the WWE filled this gap with a Pay Per View named “Elimination Chamber”, often putting one of their champions in the match to defend against five other men in a barbaric steel cage match.

It quickly became one of the most popular shows of the year and has now been moved to June, in an effort to liven up a usual dead spot in the wrestling calendar. This left the WWE with a void in February and they have decided to fill it with a new creation called, “WWE Fastlane”

The WWE Fast Lane event is set to take place on Sun., Feb. 22, 2015, at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. With most fans still looking past this event and on to Wrestlemania, WWE has decided to beef up the card as best they can in hopes that more people will subscribe to the WWE Network to see it for only $9.99 a month.

Some of the big matches include Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan with the winner receiving a shot at Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title in the Main Event of Wrestlemania 31. Other big matches include the undefeated Bulgarian brute Rusev challenging John Cena, a match originally scheduled for Mania but bumped up for this card.

Also appearing on the card will be Divas Champion Nikki Bella in a title defense against former two time champion and British sensation Paige.  Perhaps the biggest highlight will come in a non sanctioned match as HHH has challenged WCW icon Sting to face him in the ring and hash things out man to man, which will almost certainly lead to blows exchanged between the two.

The assumption is the WWE will book a match between them for WrestleMania 31.

There is also a few rumored matches hanging out there as well, as Mizdow looks to break away from the evil reign of his master The Miz. There has been some serious heat between the two since the Miz fired MIzdow as his stunt double a few weeks back. This could lead to the long awaited face turn fans have been hoping Damien Sandow will make.

We will find out much more tonight on other matches as tonight’s RAW is the last big show before the Pay Per Event this Sunday. Fastlane will have its work cut out for it to replace the highly popular Elimination Chamber.

Until Next time Fight Fans, No Blood : No Foul
