WWE may be planning for another draft after Wrestlemaina 33 to take place in either May or June. This event was done annually from 2003 to 2011 and was brought back last summer. This has become more and more of something that WWE may have up their sleeves as there has been rumors floating around of certain wrestlers switching brands.

As the rumor mills have been coming out with there have been rumors of AJ Styles coming to RAW, Roman Reigns going to Smackdown, and others. Personally I don’t agree with this at all as this is what killed it the first time they did this. By having an annual draft, you don’t allow the brands to build up any stars or establish continuity. While I fully suspect that we will see small changes to the both brands rosters after Wrestlemaina, I don’t agree with doing major changes.

I would have it were you hold the draft once every three years or so as this would then allow for the rosters to build up stars and establish others who are trying to make it on the scene. I feel that by splitting up the brands has done wonders for several wrestlers. However, if you start having superstars switch brands, then they could get pushed down on the card.

If they do go through with this then I would add something else to it to make it interesting. When it comes to the draft itself, you should have Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon to make it clear that there are certain superstars who were not going to move brands. If you look at Smackdown, I wouldn’t let Luke Harper or Bray Wyatt not be drafted to RAW as they have really benefited from being on the blue brand. Depending on who gets called up from NXT for the RAW brand after Wrestlemaina would determine who I wouldn’t move from RAW to Smackdown.

This is only a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
