WWE’s biggest party of the Summer comes on August 21st from the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York for the second straight year. Well, we now know one of the matches on that card that will sure to be a classic. As announced on Smackdown on July 7, Brock Lesnar will be going up against “The Viper” Randy Orton.

The last time we saw Brock Lesnar in the ring was at Wrestlemania 32 when he had a Street Fight against Dean Ambrose. We have not seen Randy Orton in any in-ring action since October of last year. These two wrestlers who are going to be going into the Hall of Fame eventually, have not faced each other since a Smackdown singles match in September of 2002.

It should also be noted both Orton and Lesnar came into WWE when John Cena and Batista did as well. What is interesting though to note is the timing, Brock Lesnar is going to be main eventing this weekend’s UFC 200 after the Jon Jones was removed. However, many of the wrestling sites like cagesideseats.com were reporting that the timing for this was not done on accident.

Apparently, UFC will be advertising Lesnar’s match at Summerslam. Also,it should be noted that Brock Lesnar is expected back on TV on July 19th which happens to be the Draft special. So figure that is where you will see the storyline begin to develop. Also, Randy Orton is expected to return to the WWE during a live show on August 13th.
