Glass bottle with a dropper

CBD has all the benefits of marijuana minus its downsides. It’s non-addictive, unable to get you high, and may not risk an overdose.

Most people take CBD orally like in gummies and oils. The problem is, for some, cannabinoid side effects or unwanted reactions may make taking CBD orally a no-go, leading them to try alternatives like CBC. Are there any non-oral CBD or CBC products that you can use instead?

Fortunately, CBC can also work via other delivery methods. Let’s take a look at nine cannabinoid product options to add to your self-care routine.

1. CBC Jelly Anti-Blemish Facial Serum

If you are new to the world of self-care, then the concept of a serum may seem strange. Is it an “antidote” to your skin when you get “poisoned?” Sort of.

A serum protects your skin from something known as “free radicals.” Long story short, free radicals are the negative environmental elements produced by the sun and pollution. They shorten your longevity, especially that of your skin — i.e., they cause wrinkles and dark spots.

A serum effectively protects your skin from damage it may suffer in the future. Thanks to CBC cannabinoid properties, it may help with sensitive acne and other delicate issues. It’s especially good at exfoliation, without leaving you dry.

2. CBC Soothing Oil-Balm Cleansing Mask

A balm works somewhat like a shield. It serves as a nourishing skin shield that locks in other parts of your skin routine. At the same time, it serves as a barrier against unwanted external contaminants.

So, you might use an oil balm cleansing mask after you’ve done your regular cleansing and moisturizing. It prevents any more contamination from getting in before you finish up.

CBC, like other cannabinoid types, usually comes in an oil form. This is an exceptional delivery for oral ingestion, but it works great for the skin too. CBC oil absorbs well into the pores similar to your other products.

3. CBC Skin Highlighter

Highlighter is not to be confused with a whitener that bleaches your skin. Its purpose is twofold.

One, it draws in light and helps your skin to “shine.” So, it’s not like a whitener that just affects the melanin in your face regardless of skin tone. It lets your skin show off the best it has to offer in any lighting condition.

Two, it has a tendency to perform a “lift” on your bones. For example, it gives you higher, more prominent cheeks.

4. Hypoallergenic CBC Hydrating Eye Cream

The skin around your eyes is some of the most sensitive across your body. It has to remain delicate for you to be able to blink and express. Unfortunately, this makes it especially prone to wrinkles and folding.

It’s for this reason that one of the first wrinkles people usually get is crow’s feet. To prevent this, you need an eye cream that is especially sensitive and nourishing to such a delicate area. CBC’s unique properties may help with concerns that come from rubbing eye cream into your pores.

5. CBC Cleanser

Cleanser is a must before you do anything else in your skin routine. Dirt and other contaminants can be small enough to get inside your pores. It’s key to thoroughly remove them without causing damage beyond exfoliation.

Think of a cleanser as a gentler version of soap. It removes everything you don’t want without rubbing your skin wrong in the process.

We already mentioned the special properties of CBC, and they help here with the cleansing process.

6. CBC Hydration Cream

Another cornerstone in any skin routine is hydration cream. Every type of skin has a different amount of oil production and thus a unique amount of hydration. It’s key that you find hydration that works for your skin type, whether it’s oily or dry.

CBC oil works for both types and brings all its benefits to the table for your daily post-shower hydration. Some users also note how the herb-like smell is a nice plus. CBC provides this naturally, without harmful scent additives.

7. CBC Repair Moisturizer

Repair products don’t necessarily repair your skin, per se. Instead, they provide a rich texture to damaged skin. This texture allows for more comprehensive hydration as well as the rebuilding of the skin barrier.

Your skin may get a bit puffy when damaged. It may also be out of wack with the sebum oil it produces, requiring a nudge in the right direction. Repair moisturizer helps with both concerns.

Repair moisturizer is a lot more expensive since it includes a laundry list of ingredients. You only use this on occasion, such as after long trips wearing tons of makeup and sunscreen.

8. CBC Deodorant

Ever since people began to discover that there is aluminum in their deodorants, they started to make the switch to natural alternatives. Anti-perspirants tend to cause a lot of irritation since they target a sensitive, sweaty spot.

CBC is a natural ingredient that, as you remember, has special properties. You can lather it on without worrying as much about pesky, long-lasting underarm infections.

Importantly, the smell won’t have a huge effect on the perfume signature. So you can get the scent you like without worrying that the CBC will make you smell like, well, someone smoking weed.

9. CBC Glow Oil

Glow oil is a jack of all trades that can achieve the effects of many different products in one. Depending on who you ask, it can help with the following:

  • Revitalize and brighten skin complexion
  • Prevent damage from free radicals
  • Delay skin aging
  • Give a skin glow
  • Refine your skin texture

Note: You will still need to use your regular expected products for hydration and cleansing. However, glow oil is a nice all-in-one that combines many of the product benefits above into a single package. Just be aware that there is a price tag to match.
