With the California primary elections on March 5 fast approaching, Ventura County’s Bruce Boyer has warmly welcomed a significant endorsement from Dennis Prager of KRLA AM Radio.
Bruce Boyer, positioning himself as the “pro-Donald Trump candidate” for the Republican party in the CA 26th congressional district, sees this endorsement as crucial. His campaign is deeply rooted in conservative principles, including staunch support for the 2nd Amendment, opposition to President Biden’s immigration policies, and firm backing for parents’ rights in education.
The CA 26th congressional district encompasses a large part of Ventura County, stretching from Simi Valley and Moorpark to Camarillo, Fillmore, Santa Paula, Oxnard, and Thousand Oaks. It even includes areas of L.A. county like Calabasas and Westlake Village. Democrat Julia Brownley, known for her progressive and LGBT activism, currently represents the district.
Prager’s endorsement was announced on his official website, where he and his team often publish voting guides.
Boyer expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, saying, “I couldn’t be more proud and satisfied to accept the endorsement of a hugely popular and influential conservative talk show host like Dennis Prager, whose values I share wholeheartedly.”
Dennis Prager, a leading figure in American political commentary, broadcasts his syndicated show from KRLA-AM in Glendale, California. His voice reaches listeners nationwide through nearly 400 affiliates and online platforms like TuneIn.com and iHeartRadio.com.
Prager also founded Prager University (PragerU), a highly successful online educational platform that has become the world’s most-watched conservative video site, drawing over a billion views annually, predominantly from individuals under 35.
Boyer’s campaign is driven by a commitment to “stand up for personal freedoms and liberties and uphold and enforce the rule of law – both at the border and within our communities.” He criticizes the current administration’s border security policies, which have allowed a significant influx of migrants since 2020, and opposes the lenient policies of progressive district attorneys like George Gascon of L.A., who has been criticized for releasing many suspects without bail.
Boyer has become a key conservative activist and figure in Ventura County’s political landscape, advocating vigorously for the 2nd Amendment and law enforcement support.
Since settling in the district in 2006, Boyer’s involvement in Second Amendment rights activism, community and church activities, business ventures, and political participation has made him a well-known figure in the suburban Los Angeles area. He differentiates himself from other Republican contenders by positioning himself as a formidable opponent of the Democrat Left, evidenced by numerous criticisms from Democrats and the left-wing targeting him online. Boyer believes these attacks will actually rally conservative Republicans behind him as a committed Pro-Trump candidate.
In the upcoming primary, Boyer faces competition from incumbent Democrat Julia Brownley, Agoura Hills City Councilman Chris Anstead, and Michael Koslow, a Republican healthcare investigator. The top two candidates from the primary will advance to the November 5 general election.
