The Chicago Bulls will enter a new era tonight as they take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. The Bulls had one heck of an offseason as they let go of Derrick Rose and watched as Joakim Noah walked out the door as both players headed to the New York Knicks.
The Bulls didn’t sit still as they watched their once cornerstone players leave, they hit the phones and made moves of their own. The Bulls managed to snag Rajon Rondo then got the great news that Dwyane Wade wanted to return home and possibly finish his career in Red & Black. With the Bulls throwing Rondo, Wade and Jimmy Butler at opposing teams nightly, the Bulls should be contenders in the Eastern Conference again this season.
But, the Bucks may have a say so in how far any team in the East goes. The Bucks are a mystery. It would seem at least on paper they have possibly the best-starting five in the East, and maybe all of the NBA. Their talent level is off the charts with young players like Kris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmop, Greg Monroe and Jabari Parker. Why they faltered last season is still a question but 2016-17 brings new hope.

There have been rumors of a trade involving both teams, with the Bulls possibly making a deal for Blake Griffin and the Bucks possibly looking to land Chris Paul. While no moves have been made it’s worth keeping an eye on the preseason moves forward.
This game should have plenty of scoring as the Bucks and Bulls both have top talents on the wings. If the Bucks can get the ball inside to Monroe he could have a huge night against Robin Lopez. Rondo, who led the league in assist last season will look to continue that trend as he is now paired with the best scorers that he has had during his brilliant NBA career.
