The Tennessee Titans are hosting the Denver Broncos in week 14 NFL action on Sunday. All the information to tune into this game is listed below.

The Denver Broncos are facing a tough opponent in week 14. The Tennessee Titans are in the midst of a tough division. They are playing some very strong football. Can the Denver Broncos keep the high-powered Titans offense at bay? Here are my 3 keys to a Broncos victory.

Control the Titans running game

The Denver Broncos have had some issues when it comes to stopping the run this season. That could play right into the hands of the Titans. The Titans currently have the 3rd ranked rushing attack in the NFL. They average 142 yards per game. On the contrary, the Denver Broncos have the 28th ranked rush defense in the league. This is a far cry from 2015 when they were number one. The Broncos are going to have to have some tricks up their sleeves if they want to stop DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry from having a large impact on this game.

Delanie Walker is a beast

The Denver Broncos have a very strong pass offense. That is going to be needed come Sunday. Though Tennessee ranks 18th in passing, they have one of the best pass-catching TEs in the league. Delanie Walker is the 4th highest TE in reception yards. He is one of QB Marcus Mariota’s favorite targets. The Broncos “No Fly Zone” should not be as worried about the outside receivers as much as they should be Walker. Aquib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. should have the outside locked down. It will be how they cover Walker that will be the concern. He will destroy LB Brandon Marshall. The cover skills of Marshall are not equivalent to that of current Chicago Bear and former Bronco Danny Trevathan. The number passing defense in the league will have it work cut out for them in stopping Delanie Walker.

Protect the offensive line

The pass rush of the Titans can be very good at ties. If the Denver Broncos get starting QB Trevor Siemian back they are going to need to do things to counter the pass rush. Gary Kubiak is going to have to limit the number of 5 and 7 step drop backs for his QB. With the lack of running game over the past few weeks, teams have been able to pin their ears back and come get the QB. Quick screens, slants, and 3-step drops need to be in the playbook this week. This will help keep the offensive line from having to block long and will help keep Siemian from taking so many hits. The Denver Broncos are a better football team when he is on the field.

The Denver Broncos face a Titans team that is hungry for the playoffs. They know that beating the Broncos would be a big step in that direction. This a must win game for both teams. A playoff game atmosphere in week 14, sure why not!!
