English Premier League winning Leicester City defender Christian Fuchs joined Kelsey N. Nelson as a special guest on “Listen In With KNN”.
Fuchs discussed some of his all-time favorite moments to date at Leicester City, as well as The Foxes latest summer signings, coupled alongside his successful clothing brand No Fuchs Given, and the unique experience playing in the prestigious UEFA Champions League.
Furthermore, Fuchs revealed to the “Listen In With KNN” audience about his major career ambitions of becoming an NFL kicker, Jamie Vardy’s inspirational rise from non-league obscurity to superstar status at the King Power Stadium, Fuchs’ most memorable moments from FIFA World Cup 2018, and the experience playing under current Leicester City manager, Claude Puel.
Fuchs, who has won 78 caps for Austria, represented his country in two European Championship tournaments (Euro 2008, Euro 2016). During Fuchs time in Germany’s Bundesliga, the talented Austrian left-back won the DFL Cup with Schalke 04.
Under Italian Head Coach Claudio Ranieri, Fuchs played a pivotal part in Leicester City’s once in a lifetime 5,000-1 odds triumph in claiming the English Premier League crown in 2015-2016 alongside Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante, Robert Huth, Danny Drinkwater, Marc Albrighton, Shinji Okazaki, Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Simpson, Leonardo Ulloa and Wes Morgan to name a few.
The Foxes finished 9th in the English Premier League in 2017-2018 under Frenchman Claude Puel and are currently focusing on pre-season training in preparation for their much-awaited English Premier League 2018-2019 season opener against last season’s Premier League runners up, Manchester United.
