Two teams with one win a piece will square off in week six of the NFL season. The Jacksonville Jaguars will take to the road and go North, as they take on the Chicago Bears this week. The Jaguars are coming off a week five bye, which came after a win in London against the Indianapolis Colts. Meanwhile, the Bears lost at Indy a week ago.

The Jaguars are one of the more perplexing teams this season. We entered the season with high expectations for this Jaguars club. Then they opened the season with three losses, and the team’s offensive line seemed like one of the main culprits. They have plenty of offensive weapons, and some solid young defensive pieces. Week four saw them go across the pond and beat the Colts, despite almost blowing the game late. Those strong offensive pieces and upcoming defensive players have yet to click as a whole. Now they are on the road and this could be a very telling game for them.

Meanwhile the Bears have played some of their best football with Brian Hoyer under center. He will likely be there once again this week, after throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in three straight games. So the Bears should be able to put up some points, given the inconsistent play of the young Jags defense. The defense will have their own questions, and this could easily turn into a back and forth type of game real fast.

I really want to take the Jaguars here coming off the bye. I was a big time believer before the season, and they should be fresh after a week off. But I was simply not impressed with what I saw from them in London, even though they won the game. So I am taking Brian Hoyer and the Bears to come out on top, as he deserves another W for his play.
