Recently, James Gooden and Donald Ewert from Panama traveled to the heart of the global fruit community at the Fruit Logistica expo in Berlin, Germany, the world’s leading trade show for international fresh produce traders.

During the expo, Donald Ewert and James Gooden also had the opportunity to connect with new prospective buyers intrigued by the unique taste and quality of our Caimito Fruits brand pineapples,  which are supported by Estoril Panama Corp and Inversiones JPW SA. The world’s appetite for our pineapples continues to grow, and it’s through events like these we get to share the fruits of our labor with an eager international market.

Donald Ewert and James Gooden also rekindled relationships with their existing buyers and industry contacts. It’s these partnerships that help our Caimito Fruits, a premium brand from Panama, flourish in key European markets. Its presence at Fruit Logistica 2024 is a testament to our commitment to promoting and expanding our brand’s reach and ensuring its spot on the global stage.

James Gooden from Panama, Co-founder of Caimito Fruits (which is supported by Estoril Panama Corp and Inversiones JPW SA), emphasized the company’s vision of entering the market with pineapple and opening the door for other farms to export their exotic fruits grown in Panama. He stated, “All the support from the Panama Government`s ProPanama Agency has been instrumental in helping us establish Caimito Fruits and bring our high-quality pineapples to the European market.”

Speaking to the media, the Co-founder and Marketing Director of Caimito Fruits, Donald Ewert from Panama, said, “I am extremely happy and proud of being a key part of something bigger than just Caimito Fruits. It is a win for all of Panama.”

As mentioned in previous updates, our pineapple farm in Panama is more than just a pineapple-growing facility. It’s a vertically integrated operation that allows us to control every step of the process – from farm to table. This approach isn’t just about efficiency; it’s about ensuring the long-term sustainability and profitability of our pineapple farm investors and partners.

Led by James Gooden and Donald Ewert from Panama, Caimito Fruits Panama is run on acreage legally owned by Estoril Panama Corp and overseen by Inversiones JPW SA, a legal entity that serves as the farm manager. This collaboration has been crucial in developing pineapple farms in Panama that put the health of the surrounding environment and community first, in addition to producing premium fruits for export.

Through Caimito Fruits Panama, the partnership between Estoril Panama Corp and Inversiones JPW SA exemplifies a progressive approach to agriculture that strikes a balance between the requirements of producing high-quality fruit and the necessity of environmental stewardship and community welfare. This collaboration represents the pinnacle of Panamanian pineapple production and establishes a standard for how agricultural businesses can support the worldwide objectives of sustainability and social responsibility.

Our efforts at Fruit Logistica 2024 are just one piece of this larger vision to bring the best of Panama to the world while supporting our pineapple farm investors and the local community. We stand proud as one of the foremost agricultural employers in our region, actively championing numerous community support initiatives.

Under James Gooden’s and Donald Ewert’s leadership, Caimito Fruits from Panama is excited about the future and grateful for your continued trust and support. If you need more details or insights, don’t hesitate to contact Donald Ewert at sales@caimitofruits.com.
