Grilled True Lemon Pepper BBQ Wings

Ingredients:

Directions:

  • Toss wings with True Lemon Pepper and olive oil, evenly coating them. Cover in the refrigerator and let sit for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat grill on high.
  • Toss wings again, then reduce grill heat to medium-high.
  • Grill wings for 5-10 minutes on each side, basting with BBQ sauce as you turn.
  • Continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. 

Ginger Spiced Roasted Nuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of assorted nuts (unsalted and not roasted), such as pecans, cashews, walnuts, or almonds
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon melted coconut oil or butter
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar, plus additional amount for topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon True Orange Ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons organic maple syrup

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine nuts with melted oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, True Orange Ginger, salt, and 1 tablespoon of the maple syrup. Toss to coat well.
  • Spread nuts onto a cookie sheet (with edges) and bake about 12-15 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through cooking time.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately add remaining 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and mix well. Sprinkle with additional sugar and True Orange Ginger, if desired.
  • Let cool completely, then serve! This recipe makes 2 cups.

Tex Mex Chili 

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen chicken breasts
  • 1 can red or green enchilada sauce
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 large can chili beans in mild sauce
  • 1 large can pinto beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 6 packets True Lime (2 packets sprinkled on the chicken breasts, and the rest in the mix)                                                                                                  
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cilantro and a couple of dashes of your favorite hot sauce (to taste)

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker or crockpot
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours
  • Serve with low fat shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions and sour cream

True Grapefruit Summer Spritz Cocktail 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. vodka
  • 1.5 oz. triple sec
  • Tonic water
  • Two packets of True Grapefruit

Directions

  • Fill a glass or copper mug with ice. Add vodka, triple sec, and True Grapefruit. Fill to the brim with tonic water. Stir until combined, and enjoy!
