The Denver Broncos are hosting the New England Patriots during week 15 NFL action on Sunday. All the information to tune into this game is listed below.
The Denver Broncos have a chance to solidify themselves in the AFC Playoff picture on Sunday. A win over the New England Patriots would go a long way in stating a case for the Denver Broncos in the AFC. Can they do enough on Sunday to pull off the upset? Here are my three keys for a Broncos victory.
Contain LaGarrette Blount
The Denver Broncos defense is not very good at stopping the run. They have been destroyed between the tackles in 2016. This week against the vaunted New England offense the Broncos will need to focus on the run. Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips knows how to control Tom Brady that we know. The issue this week will be stopping the powerful running back. If the Denver Broncos and their defense can have the success I believe that they can do enough to win the game.

Use your run game.
I do not like beating a dead horse, no pun intended, but the Denver Broncos are built to be a run first offense. Head Coach Gary Kubiak and Offensive Coordinator Rick Dennison need to demand more from their running backs this week. The Patriots are currently the sixth-ranked run defense in the NFL. That would suggest that there may not be many running lanes for the Broncos. However, the offensive mind of Kubiak could surely find a way to get creative in running the ball. This is where the Broncos need to excel on offense. If they can do that they will have no issues solving the New England Patriots again in Denver.
Let your defense win the game
The Denver Broncos have a top 5 NFL defense. They are ranked as the best pass defense in the league. Yes, their downfall is their rush defense but they can compensate for that. Let the “No Fly Zone” do its thing on Tom Brady. The Patriots are the fourth-ranked passing offense in the league. This could be a matchup for the ages. The Broncos usually have good times against Brady and company. This year could be no different. If DC Wade Phillips unleashes his boys and creates pressure, he can force mistakes. This is the best way for Denver to win this game.

The Denver Broncos are not as bad as some people would want them to be. They always play well against the New England Patriots. I do not see this year being any different. I think you will see some adjustments made and well-played game. Keep your eye on this one Sunday afternoon.
